Moderator Overview

How ATDQ moderation works

Review the public workflow before requesting Moderator access. Operational controls remain available only to approved moderators and event owners.

Access requirements

Required: ATDQ account, completed profile, Moderator selection, Admin approval, and an assigned room. A creator package is required only when you are also hosting or producing your own paid event.

Step 1

Create one ATDQ account

Use the same account for public viewing, moderation assignments, and follow-up work.

Step 2

Choose Moderator during onboarding

Complete your profile and explain the type of debates or podcasts you plan to moderate.

Step 3

Wait for Admin approval

Moderator access is reviewed before control-room tools become available.

Step 4

Open an assigned session

The Moderator dashboard separates preparation, live control, and follow-up work.

Step 5

Run the live room

Post the question, control speaking windows and microphones, trigger official answers, and review evidence before publication.

Step 6

Close and review

End the room, confirm recording state, and open the replay, report, or follow-up queue.
