How to join and participate in an ATDQ debate

Review the team and speaker flow before creating an account or accepting an invitation.

Access requirements

Required: ATDQ account, an open role or valid team invitation, completed participant profile, and any event team fee. Speakers also complete camera and microphone checks.

Choose an event

Open the public event overview and confirm the date, team availability, entry fee, and spectator rules.

Choose your entry path

Create or sign in to one ATDQ account

ATDQ keeps the selected event in the return path while you authenticate.

Step 4

Complete your participant profile

Choose Team Member and select Speaker or Support / fact checker / strategist.

Step 5

Prepare with your team

Use the team workspace, private preparation tools, action plan, and assigned responsibilities.

Step 6

Enter the live workspace

Complete the device check, confirm your microphone state, and follow the current question, timer, and official-answer prompts.
